A Little About Me:
My husband and I have been married for almost 27 years. We have 3 children, ages 21, 19, and 13, two dogs who answer to "Rosco" and or "Riley" because they both come every time, and a fish named "Bruce." Also, I have a sweet wonderful father that my kids call "Papa."
I grew up in the South, as did many, many generations of my family on both sides. The mix is mainly Irish, and Scottish, but I have a goodly portion of Cherokee Indian mixed in as well.
I work at a private, Christian university as the dispatch supervisor in Public Safety. I find myself surrounded by college-aged kids all the time, and I love it!
Why "Teapot's Tempest"? My stature is on the short side, and I inherited a tendency for stoutness, so "I'm a little teapot, short and stout." It's been my online moniker for years, and it's easy for people to remember. No, I don't collect teapots, and I prefer coffee. It's the short, stout thing completely.
